Speaker: David Ryan
When: Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00am Eastern
Program Description:
As a hobby genealogy is addictive. After gaining so much experience researching our own ancestors, it is only natural to consider making the transition to genealogy as a profession. From the outside it can seem like a daunting prospect. But how do you do go from hobbyist to professional? Are there specific qualifications needed to become a professional genealogist? Is it possible to make a living as a genealogist? How do we find clients? Do you have to be retired to become a professional? This talk will include some examples and advice from my own experiences of working as a professional genealogist.
