VGA members have the opportunity to participate in our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). One of them is called VGA Gives Back and it is a place to learn where to find fun and exciting volunteer transcription projects.
VGA Gives Back SIG is going to explore the website titled From the Page on Saturday, March 19th at 5:00pm Eastern. From the Page is a website that is dedicated to helping repositories get their collections transcribed.
After learning how to navigate the site from the group host, Linda Debe, participants will begin working on a projects together during the rest of the hour. Everyone will be working individually while on the Zoom with the group. That way, should any questions arise, the group will be available to offer help.
It is a fun way to connect with like-minded genealogists while giving back to the genealogical community. Win-Win!
